3 bands 3 ISOs

This post needs some 'splainin'. I tried to shoot through the crankies last night experimenting with the Evolt ISO Power Boost. Resulting in... oh you can see for yourself.

I apologize in advance for the ever so cheater-ly manner of motion-light-blur. It's the crack of the live band photographer. Once you try it you're hooked no matter how many open sores you get and damn it all if you can't stop. "I'll just shoot one" is the phrase I catch myself thinking in the middle of a set.

HELLO TRI-X and Acufine in digital format.Wow.
I was kinda hoping the "ISO power boost" would do some magical fractal computation and find light reflections that exist only in my imagination but hey I'm down with the Tri-X look. It was, after all, my bread and butter during photography school. Yep I went to school for this. Crazy huh?

No Sleep for Me

An after 4am bed time with an 8am wake up call do not make for a happy girl. Coffee coffee coffee. But all is not lost I was working on my recognition gig: shooting for spin.com. Another evening where the gift of some kick-ass earplugs from my awesome husband saved the day. Although I did talk really loud this morning (sorry Jay).
